AFTER CARE

Avoid tight underwear and pants for a few days

Avoid touching freshly waxed skin to reduce chances of irritation

Do not sit in a hot bath for the rest of the day

No tanning, public pools, saunas, or steam rooms for at least 48 hours

02 — Try to plan ahead for extracurricular activities * wink wink *

Sexual activity should be avoided for 24-48 hours

03 — Hey Alexa, remind me to moisturize me 48 hours

Wait at least 2 full days before using a wash cloth and gentle exfoliator

No topical lotions for 12 hours (scented or unprofessional product may cause a burning sensation)

04 — Life isn’t perfect, but your aftercare can be…

The most important time to care for your wax is 3-10 days after the service has been done. Following these guidelines will eliminate chances of ingrown hairs and slow down the process of growth for fresh hairs. As the skin heals, it’s possible for new, softer hair to become trapped under the skin, try buffing area 2-3 times a week with a gentle exfoliator & ask us about one of our recommended aftercare products.

How long does it last?

For first-timers or occasional waxers, it lasts about 2-3 weeks if the hair was long enough at the appointment. Keep in mind, that due to staggered hair growth, you will see about 1/3 of your hair come back by that time. The density of the hair may decrease over time, depending on your ability to keep up with waxes. Regular clients can see results for up to 6 weeks after service.
